QoA (Queen of Audio) is another brand from China with a twist I hadn’t seen before and now time of QoA Mojito 2.0 Review. The company is run by women, design and tuning included! This alone is worth attention in my attention.
Now after truly budgets, time of flagship stuff. This is pig nosed like Vesper was pig nosed too. But has 4 holes at its longer nozzle unlike Vesper’s. And the overall dimensions are substantially higher. 6 drivered Pure BA!
Box, Contents, QoA Mojito 2.0 and Cable
Box is %100 premium. Looking like a marble box. Contents are simple and sufficent. Mojito 2.0 is covered in hard and transparent plastic sheets. Handcrafted and each unit is totally unique. Looking like a big ball of dark marbe. Nose is shaped as the case’s natural extention and pig nosed.
Cable is retractable 2 pinned. Colored in silver and connectors are shiny metal. Cable is 4.4mm terminated. 3.5mm adapter is included within the box.
I didn’t include a specifics section because Mojito 2.0 is out of the radar until now.
OOTB Unburnt. Used M red bored tips.
Timbre is dark. Requires amping. Flat basses with resolution and control, laid back presentation, nice layering, high quality in treble but gets energy through amping. I’d expect more than this admiral ship beast. Seems like its missing a piece I can’t figure out what now.
OOTB Unburnt. Used M black tips
Timbre is dark and a sprinkle of brightness. Basses are flat with more resolution and control. Stage moved forwarder to the listener. Layering is nicer than the red bored tip. Energy with amp is here to an extent even without amp now. This indicates benefit from tip rolling.
OOTB Unburnt. Used M black tips with q5k.
Dark timbre still. Most natural after the setups above. Dynamics are obvious. And can descend in frequencies. Gained body overall. Presentation became between laid back and forward. Especially stage, mids and basses enjoyed it. Stage got wider than ever. No bass rumble anyway. And rise in revolution helped me recognise the trombone in its forward presentation. I can select the keys the keyboard player pressed (if I know piano ofc)and seperation got better (for eg. drum kicks and the guitars are divided even at the busiest moments of a reference track) and extensions became more (they were already so) natural in speed and decay. Treble amount and resolution improved too
These are my OOTB with LG G7 and Q5k findings on the QoA Mojito. Though I didn’t hear Adonis before, Vesper is still my pick due to its performance for its price (wow factor). This is not your daily (or commuter) iem as while not like a planar – still demanding at least q5k power to ignite its drivers in full… Now lets give it another chance and lay it down to burnin’. I’ll update the post in some days.
<Now impressions can continue after sufficent amount of burnin.>

Now the stage is at my feet. Or shall I say that I am in the stage. The width I hear is widened, bass guitar and drums kicks gained body. Both body and bass & treble quality rose up. Air around the instruments are pretty good as they were before. Layering combined with treble quality made it perfect for 80s synth loaded music we all such as Morning After http://www.deezer.com/track/3130431 and Africa http://www.deezer.com/track/1079668 Plus produced very good results on a Diana Krall song I use as a reference track for many parameters. Hearing her lines word by word is an amazing thing. Sibilance I can expect from a forward iem on average quality recording looks to be gone. http://www.deezer.com/track/520934302
Burnt in. Used M black tips and TACable Obsidian with LG G7
It’s stock cable’s inferiority is apparent with the first notes you hear. Now the BA effect on extensions is obvious. Plus tonality is improved too.

This is the real deal! And the missing piece I had mentioned in the beginning. Overall smoothness and stage width and tonality are fantastic even tough
Burnt in. Used M black tips and 6N Pure Copper with Q5K
The actual character of Mojito 2.0 is with me now. Timbre is somewhat dark. Pretty smooth and detailed. Vocals placed nearest. Background details such as trumpet are most visible when a 6N cable is used. Tonality is at it’s highest level as well.
QoA Mojito 2.0 Review Conclusions
This is what an admiral ship should sound like with pure BA setup of 6. These BA drivers, when correctly crafted are able to produce top notch experiences. I just wished it shouldn’t take some time to find the perfect match. But anyway result is fantastic. My suggestion to QoA is the 6N (and higher purity cable)
