Final vr3000 Review is here out of my curiosity alone. “If its Final, they certainly know what are they doing” was my neverchanging idea. And looks like they did. See Final e1000. And 17 usd tagged e500. Such sound quality was really unexpected.
Box, Final vr3000, Cable
Just like every other cardboard Final box. Nothing interesting here.
Final vr3000 is geometrically shaped plastic iem. This improves the comfort at long listening sessions. And tips are legendary E line tips.
Cable is like other Finals cables but they had somehow reduced the cable noise. And finally a changeable cable at Finals without breaking the bank with e5000.
Thick and dark sound. Nothing new at Final side. Amp requirement and dark atmosphere continues. As well its nice layering and seperation too. Timbre is natural. 3d imaging is solid. Stage is larger than average (but not too wide) at 3 dimensions even when unamped. The marketing of immersive 3d audio claim is true here (some when amped) Lowest notes leave a bold impression. No sibilance. And extensions are pretty natural. Sparks are lifelike. But its obvious that an amp is needed to lift this up at music. But vr3000 and binaural recordings are perfect. It is clearly designed with these in mind.
Played Call of Duty by Activision. At battle royale mode, surround sound filled my head with +1 on low end. Gunshots or machine gun were easy to locate and seperate. Larger guns were booming at low frequencies like they should at life. Was fun and very realistic for me since KBear Lark at gaming.
Control tradition of Final Audio continues here. Not boomy when overlapped with another instruments. This makes genres like jazz and blues or any live recording worth listening. With the help of its good 3d imaging, bass has presence when the instrument hits or large gun fired. Thus the bass SQ is more than the quantity.
Though I didn’t came across a frequency graph yet, the overall sound shape is close to harman curve and so mids are a little bit recessed after bass. Respectful and not bleeding (into mids) bass keeps them intact. But must admit that the upper treble (mid region adjencent with treble) is not that high.
Another point where sq is preferred over quantity. No any sibilance. Japanese discipline is here too. The comfortable fit of it is continuing with treble. They are not giving ear fatigue even amped and raised the volume to 80/100. Treble also helps the tonality and 3d image, latter is very good at it.
Final vr3000 Review Conclusions
Some major sites claim that vr3000 is made for gaming. Yeah gaming and an iem is a rare sight. But altough the name of GAMING at its box, one can have satisfactory (if not heavenly) music time with this. Kudos to makers of E1000 legend
